Steatitis In A Cat
by bannink - April 29, 2017    View Case Report
One of our technician's cats has been attacked by a dog and shaken. He's in ICU and has pretty severe steatitis as well. Work called for ideas, the internal med doc thinks she remembers hearing about using antioxidants per rectum for this, but I've not done per rectum admin with an antioxidant supplement before. I'm thinking per rectum TCM herbs would be ideal but 1) have not seen the kitty yet (bad shape, hypotensive) 2) haven't treated this condition with herbs. I'm wondering about the safety/efficacy of something like Si Miao San in a situation like this. Any experience, anecdotes, comments are welcome. Thanks. Erin
