Hemangiosarcoma (splenic) In A Dog
by henry - December 31, 2017    View Case Report
Zeus is a 9 year-old neutered male Boxer who had an emergency splenectomy about a month ago. The biopsy showed hemangiosarcoma although there was no visible evidence of metastatic disease. He is receiving chemotherapy from an oncologist and I have dispensed an herbal formula and your recommended supplements.

My question is about Yunnan Paiyo. What dose is recommended in the absence of signs of metastatic disease. Should I put him on an aggressive dose at this point?

Also, whatever happened to the little red emergency pill that used to come with Yunnan Paiyo? It disappeared at some point.

Happy New Year, all,
Deirdre Farr

Hi Deirdre,

If you're using CHJLGMLT with San Qi added, and there is no active bleeding, then an aggressive dose is probably not needed. A BID maintenance dose is probably fine

I'm not sure what happened to the red pill. I think because it contained undisclosed ingredients, the FDA has banned it from entry into the US
